Who we are
Super Disc is made by Scrolling Is Evil LLC. Questions: support@scrollingisevil.com.
What the phone stores
Your name, the partners you add, your bag of discs, and your rounds: course and layout, start and finish times, everyone’s scores, the disc thrown on each hole, and where each lie was marked. Also the tee, basket and amenity pins you map, the courses you add or download (name, pars, and a location if you set one), side game results, rounds you import from CSV files, and any leagues you run (names, check-ins, groups, bag tags, points and standings). All of it sits in the app’s own storage. A short list of parks ships with the app. There is no account.
The round card image is made on the phone when you finish a round and goes only where you send it.
On iPhone, an iCloud or computer backup of the phone can include this data. Your phone’s maker holds it under its own terms, and we cannot read it. On Android, Super Disc opts out of app backup, so Google’s backup does not copy this data.
Location
Super Disc asks for location while the app is open. It reads single fixes to sort nearby courses, to check you are at a course before a pin drop, and to save a lie or a pin where you stand. It does not track you in the background. Sorting by distance happens on your phone.
Photos
Super Disc does not use the camera. Save Image adds a round card picture to your photo library when you choose it; the app does not read your photos.
What leaves the phone
Only the features below contact a server. Scoring, history, side games, league night, CSV import and stats never do.
Map images
Hole maps and course thumbnails load aerial images from the government or map service for that place: USGS The National Map (United States), PDOK (Netherlands), IGN (France), swisstopo (Switzerland), the state survey offices of North Rhine-Westphalia and Bavaria (Germany), Maa-amet (Estonia), OpenFreeMap street maps elsewhere, and Esri World Imagery where we switch it on. Those requests carry the map area on screen, which is near the course and the pins you mapped, plus the network details any web request carries, such as IP address. When a hole has no pins yet, the map centres on where you stand, so those requests show the area around you at street level. They carry no name or scores. None of this reaches us.
Course list and downloads
Super Disc can list courses in 39 countries and download a course to play without signal. The app fetches the course list and course files from courses.scrollingisevil.com. Those requests name a course, never where you are. We do not store IP addresses; to limit abuse the server keeps a keyed hash of the first part of an address (for example 203.0.113.x) for two days.
Sharing course maps (off until you turn it on)
Settings → Share course maps is off by default. Nothing is sent until you tap Share this layout, Matches, or Report. A share sends the course name and centre, the layout name and hole count, and for each hole the par, the length, and the tee and basket spots, plus an install key: a random number made on your phone the first time you turn sharing on. Our server stores only a scrambled form of it, to count agreements and apply limits. Your rounds, scores, partner names, notes and throws are never sent. Shared maps are published under the Open Database License, so anyone may copy and reuse them. A report sends its reason and the optional note you type, which only we read. Tapping Share this layout or turning sharing on means you accept the sharing rule shown there: share only real disc golf course layouts, and nothing offensive, abusive, hateful, sexual, misleading or unlawful. Any shared map can be reported or hidden. To remove a shared map, write to us with the course and layout name.
Round cards and files
Sending a finished card as a picture or a file uploads nothing; it goes to whoever you choose in the share sheet. Import a card reads a card file from your phone and shows it before anything is saved.
League night
A league lives on the organizer’s phone. No league data is sent to us, and the app makes no network request for a league. What can leave is only what the organizer chooses to send: a picture or a file of the standings or results, sent the same way as a round card.
Watch app
If you use the Super Disc watch app, the round in play (course and layout names, hole numbers, pars, the players’ names and scores, and the distance to the pin in feet) goes from your phone to your watch, and score taps come back, over the phone’s own watch connection. It never reaches our servers. The watch app has no network, location or account access.
Other
Share this card sends the card image and a line of text to the app you pick. Tell your group about Super Disc sends a line of text with a link to this site. Settings → Privacy and Support open these pages in your browser. Export my data copies your data as text to the clipboard. Where you paste it is up to you. If a save cannot be read, the app keeps a copy of it on the phone, and Settings can copy that to the clipboard too. If you email us an export or a save, it stays in our support mailbox until you ask us to delete it.
Every request to our servers carries the app version, which is not stored. The app has no analytics, crash reporting, ads or advertising identifier.
Purchases
Super Disc has one optional in-app purchase, Super Disc Supporter ($4.99 in the US, paid once). The app store you bought it from takes the payment, and RevenueCat checks the purchase to unlock Supporter, restore it, and prevent fraud. RevenueCat receives an anonymous ID made on your phone and your purchase history. It does not receive your name, email, rounds or scores, and we do not receive your name, card or billing details. The app keeps whether Supporter is unlocked on the phone.

Kids
Super Disc is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think we have, email us and we will delete what we hold.
Deleting data
Settings → Clear local data wipes rounds, maps, courses you added or downloaded, leagues, bag, name, and any save kept aside because it could not be read. Uninstalling the app clears the phone. To remove a shared course map, or anything else we hold, email us and we delete it.
