Write to support@scrollingisevil.com. Include your phone (iPhone or Android), the app version, and what you were doing. The version is under Settings → About; press and hold it to copy it.
Price and free trial
The app is a free download. Your first guided session (you can replay it from Today while you have no plan, except on flare-up days), the pain log, calendar, 30 days of graphs, CSV export, lessons, and flare-up help (including its floor session) are free. Plans add every other guided session, next-session suggestions set from your pain logs and recent workouts, weekly reviews, workout history beyond your first saved session, graphs past 30 days, backup, optional color themes, and a PDF report for your clinician. A plan is Pro Monthly ($9.99 a month) or Pro Annual ($59.99 a year), each with a 7-day free trial where you are eligible. Those are US prices; the store shows yours before you confirm.
Restore a purchase
Supporter Lifetime is no longer sold. If you bought it, you keep full access for good, and it restores like any other purchase. Sign in to the store with the Apple ID or Google account you paid with, then open Settings → Restore purchases. If a plan is already active, Settings → Manage purchases has restore and receipts. If you signed in to sync, the purchase follows that account to your other phone.
Cancel a subscription
iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Low Back Pain Coach → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Low Back Pain Coach → Cancel.
On the App Store, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or the current period ends. On Google Play, cancel before the trial or the current period ends, as Google Play’s rules describe. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds
Apple and Google handle refunds for their stores. For Apple, use reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, see Google’s refund page.
Moving to a new phone
Signing in under Settings → Account & sync (Apple or Google) keeps your stage, pain logs, and workouts in sync across phones and at app.lowbackpaincoach.com. Without an account, a paid plan can use Google Drive auto backup, or Settings → Export backup spreadsheet on the old phone and Import backup on the new one.
Steps and sleep
Settings → Connect steps & sleep reads daily steps and sleep from Apple Health or Health Connect to show beside your pain. If nothing appears, allow access for Low Back Pain Coach in the Health app or in Health Connect.
Delete your data
Settings → Reset all data deletes workouts, pain logs, and progression on this phone, and on your account if you are signed in. Settings → Delete account (at the bottom of Settings while you are signed in) deletes the synced account; you can also do it at app.lowbackpaincoach.com or by email. To remove a Google Drive backup, open Google Drive on the web, go to Settings → Manage apps, and choose Delete hidden app data for Low Back Pain Coach. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
When to stop and get care
The app is education and self-tracking. It does not diagnose or treat anything.
Go to emergency care now if any of these are new:
- Numbness, tingling or a change in feeling in the saddle area: around the groin, inner thighs, genitals or anus, or when you wipe.
- Trouble getting or keeping an erection, not being able to orgasm, or a change in feeling during sex.
- Bladder or bowel changes: trouble starting or stopping pee, a weak stream, not feeling when you need to go, or leaking pee or poo.
- Pain, tingling, numbness or weakness in both legs.
- Leg or foot weakness that is getting worse (tripping, a foot that slaps down).
- Back pain that started after a recent serious accident, like a car crash or a bad fall.
See a clinician today if any of these are new:
- Other weakness or numbness in one leg or foot.
- Fever or chills alongside your back pain.
- Pain after a recent smaller fall or knock.
- Weight loss you cannot explain, or a history of cancer.
- Pain that is rapidly getting worse.
- Pain that is constant at rest and worse at night, not tied to movement.
Use urgent care if you cannot get an appointment today. Pain in your legs during or after the exercise means stop the extension work and do not add load. The Flare-up screen in the app asks about the same signs, and lowbackpaincoach.com/back-pain-red-flags explains each one.
