RepMark Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
RepMark is a workout log for iPhone and Android from Scrolling Is Evil LLC (App Store, Google Play). Help is on the support page, and the terms are here.
Your workout data is stored on your device and is not used for ads, analytics, or tracking.
What we collect
RepMark has no required user account, no sign-up, no ads, no social features, and no tracking. The app does not contain advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs. The one outside service is RevenueCat, which handles the Supporter purchase and never receives your workout data.
If you choose to become a Supporter, RepMark uses RevenueCat to process and validate the in-app purchase. RevenueCat receives purchase history and an anonymous app user identifier so Supporter access can be granted and restored. RepMark does not send RevenueCat your workout data.
If you choose to connect Google Drive automatic backup, RepMark uses Google Sign-In and the Google Drive app-data folder to upload and restore your RepMark backup. This is optional and controlled from Settings.
Data you create
Your workouts, routines, exercises, personal records, body measurements, notes, and settings are stored in a local database on your device. We do not run a server for workout data and do not receive a copy unless you choose to send one to us for support.
Export, import, and restore (optional)
RepMark lets you export a JSON backup of your data, or a CSV of your personal records. Export always starts with you. When you tap Export, your device’s standard share sheet opens and you choose where the file goes (for example your own Google Drive, iCloud, or Files). Restoring a backup, or Import CSV from another tracker, reads a file you select on the phone.
Supporters can also enable automatic Google Drive backup. RepMark stores the backup in Google’s hidden app-data folder, not in your normal Drive files. Once a backup is stored in or shared through another service, that service’s privacy policy also applies.
Permissions
On Android, internet access is used for optional Supporter purchases and optional Google Drive backup. RepMark asks for notification permission, and may ask to schedule exact alarms, so rest-timer alerts arrive on time.
On iPhone, RepMark asks for notification permission so rest-timer alerts can show. Photo library access may be requested only when you choose a file or image to import, or choose to save an exported file or image to Photos.
Camera, location, contacts, and similar permissions are not requested.
List of our other apps
Settings shows a list of our other apps. The app loads that list from a public file at scrollingisevil.com. The request carries no name, account, device identifier, or data from the app. Like any web request, it shows your IP address to Cloudflare, which hosts this site. If the request fails, the app shows the list built into it. Tapping a row opens that app’s store page.
Children’s privacy
RepMark does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It is suitable for all ages and contains no objectionable content.
Data deletion
Settings → Clear all data deletes workouts, routines, custom exercises, body measurements, imports, notes, records, and local settings from the phone. Clearing the app’s data in system settings, or uninstalling the app, does the same. If you enabled Google Drive backup, disconnect Google Drive in RepMark, then open Google Drive on the web, go to Settings → Manage apps, and choose Delete hidden app data for RepMark. Purchase records are handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat for purchase validation and restore; email us if you want the RevenueCat record deleted.
