Common questions
- Where is my data stored?
- On your device, in a local database. If you turn on the optional Google Drive backup, a copy goes to the hidden app-data folder of your own Google Drive. Nothing goes to a RepMark server.
- How do I back up or move to a new phone?
- Settings → Export data saves a JSON backup through the share sheet (Drive, iCloud, Files, and so on). On the new phone, use Settings → Import data and pick that file. Supporters can also turn on automatic Google Drive backup.
- Can I bring workouts from another app?
- Settings → Import CSV reads a spreadsheet and matches common columns such as Date, Exercise, Weight, Reps, Time, Distance, and Calories.
- What does Supporter cost, and how do I restore it?
- RepMark is free. RepMark Supporter is an optional one-time purchase ($4.99 in the US; the store shows your price), with no subscription. To restore it, sign in to the store account you paid with and tap Restore on the Supporter card in Settings.
- How do I get a refund?
- Apple and Google handle refunds. For Apple, use reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, see Google’s refund page.
- Does RepMark work offline?
- Yes. Workout logging, routines, calendar, and stats work offline. Supporter purchase checks and Google Drive backup use the network only when you use those features.
- How are personal records calculated?
- A completed working set is a PR when no earlier set beat it on both weight and reps. Beating your reps at the same weight counts, and so does beating your weight at the same reps. Estimated 1RM uses the Epley formula.
- How do I delete all my data?
- Settings → Clear all data. It offers a backup first, then deletes everything RepMark stored on the phone. Uninstalling the app does the same.
- Is my workout data shared with anyone?
- No workout data is sent to RepMark servers. Supporter purchases are checked through Apple or Google and RevenueCat, and Google Drive backup goes to your own Drive. See the privacy policy.
