What Threshold does
It gives a below-threshold practice plan for a dog that lunges or has scary walks, one week at a time. Today shows one practice: what it is for, and on a walk the distance to start at. Open it for the steps, when to end, and that practice's check. After a practice you log how it went: stayed easy, left early or stopped early, or reacted. On a walk near a trigger, you log the distance in your own steps. Week 1 is free: a plan for the week's walks, a marker word and a U-turn taught at home, Look at that from far away, finding your dog's distance, an end-the-session rule, and week notes. The Threshold Plan opens weeks 2 to 8 (home games, open bar, look-away work, set-ups with a helper, exits for surprises, everyday routes, and a plan you keep) and ongoing practice after week 8. Most practices take 5 to 10 minutes; sniff walks take about 20. At each week's check-in the app suggests what comes next from your log: move on or repeat the week, and from week 3, go back to an easier week.
Threshold gives education and a structured practice plan. It is not a substitute for a veterinarian or a certified behavior professional, and it tells you when to see one: a safety check when you add a dog and at every check-in pauses the practices if the dog has bitten or snapped, growls at people at home or at children, guards things, changed suddenly, shows pain, or can't settle, or if you can't hold the leash. More than one dog
Add a dog from the dog's name at the top of Today, or from More → Dogs. Each dog gets its own week 1, safety check, vet check, log, and notes, and switching takes two taps. Practice with one dog at a time: walk your other dog separately or leave them at home.
Week 1 and the Threshold Plan
Week 1 is free for every dog, with no account and no purchase, and you can run it again as often as you like. The Threshold Plan is one purchase that opens weeks 2 to 8 and ongoing practice for all your dogs. It is one payment, and there is nothing to cancel. The app shows the store's price before you confirm. Any week you already started stays open.
Restore the plan on a new phone
Sign in to the same account at the store you bought it from, open the app, and tap More → Restore purchase. The same button is on the plan screen. A purchase from one store does not carry over to a phone that uses a different store. Your dogs and notes stay on the old phone; More → Export notes makes a copy you can keep.
Refunds
The store you bought it from handles refunds. For Apple, use reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, see Google's refund page.
Invite someone
More → Invite someone opens the invite screen. Share invite sends a short message and a link. Your notes are not in it.
Your notes
More → Export notes shares a plain-text copy of every week you ran, for every dog. More → Delete all data clears the phone. Details are on the privacy page.
